Sea buckthorn oil is a red-orange oil derived from sea buckthorn plants. The thorny shrub grows in the Himalayan region and people have used the oil for centuries as a natural remedy for a variety of conditions.  It is a plant rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins, and lots of nutrients (antioxidant, antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory). Sea buckthorn seed oil is one of the few known oils that contains all four types of omega fatty acids such as omega-3, omega-6, omega-7 and omega-9.
